On Thanksgiving weekend, I was honored to take part in a photo shoot sponsored by Shawna Serniak with Every Woman Empowered and photographer Heather Fryer with Visions of Heaphen.  Also participating were April Eve Medicinespiritdancer with Stolen Sisters & Brothers Awareness Movement, Nana Lizotte, Shelley Houle, Orlean Chalifoux Lizotte, and many other supporters.  Makeup by Deonna Fetzko with Aurora Hair and Makeup Artistry.

This is a only preview of a much bigger project envisioned by Heather and Shawna to bring awareness to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.  I am very grateful that MissingCara.ca was recognized and will be part of this new and exciting project.
