Happy International Women’s Day and thank you to all the strong and inspirational women in my life.

In 1976 the theme was “an attitude not a slogan.”  This year it is “press for progress.”  It seems 42 years later we still have lots of work to do in recognizing human rights and creating equal opportunities for women around the world.  I’m pleased to see many celebrations happening in our city.  Unfortunately, I will not be partaking as I’m preparing for a educational road trip.  More about that later.  For those who have been reading, I’m happy to announce Book Three – Summer has been added.  Thanks to all who have commented.  Book Four is almost ready!
